Car, converted from gas electric rail car, offers passenger train service with seats for 28 passengers, mail and baggage compartments; length 83 ft 6 in. over couplers; width 9 ft 11 3/8 in.; height 14 ft 5 1/4 in.; top speed 60 mph; weight 140,000 lb; 4-wheel trucks are used, with front truck only powered; 6-cyl, 4-cycle Sterling Diesel engine with Buchi supercharger which delivers 300 hp to traction motors.
