History and present activities of Traffic Engineering Division; in 1933, first full year that Division existed, 101 persons were killed in traffic accidents; in 1950, with 100% traffic volume increase, 37 lives were lost; budget, parking controls, new regulations, signs, markings, signals, street lighting, design and planning, pedestrian safety, and off-street parking are discussed.
