New field survey group of Chicago Bureau of Street Traffic makes volume counts, observation studies and parking surveys; its modified station wagon carries 20 small non-recording traffic counting machines, two wooden spools each carrying 12 50-ft lengths of tubing, and two large recording traffic counting machines; graphic speed recorder is actuated from transmission by means of dual take-off.
