100% Diesel powered railroad owned and operated for exclusive use of Kaiser Steel Corp; two 150-ton 1500-hp Baldwin Diesel electric road switching locomotives, Model SC30, equipped with dynamic brakes and multiple unit control, are operated by railroad; in 1949 locomotives performed combined total of 53,190 locomotive miles, and hauled combined total of 590,000 tons of iron ore; note on maintenance system used.
