New Crossley chassis is fitted with 5-speed gear box of type which was introduced for supercharged high speed bus chassis supplied to Holland; gear box is separately mounted by 3-point rubber insulated system and is used in conjunction with rather lower ratio back axle than normal, giving max speed of 54 mph; engine modification increased power output from 100 to 114 bhp at 1750 rpm; wheelbase is 17 ft 7 in. and length oa is 26 ft 9 1/4 in.
