Duple bodies combine steel and light alloys in structure of modern design; steel is used for cross bearers, bulkheads and lower truss panels, and light alloys for pillars, horizontal rails, roof sticks, upper truss panels and exterior paneling; first of new bodies to be completed is one of 25 low bridge double deckers; bodies are mounted on Gardner engined Guy Arab chassis and low bridge vehicles seat 53 passengers; structural details shown.
