Twin screw passenger and cargo motorship built by Caledon Shipbuilding and Engineering Co, Dundee, for North of Scotland and Orkney and Shetland Steam Navigation Co; length oa 285 ft 7 in.; breadth molded 46 ft; depth molded to shelter deck 25 ft 3 in.; loaded draft 14 ft 8 3/4 in.; gross tonnage 2280 tons; propelled by two sets of British Polar engines, developing collectively 2560 bhp at 250 rpm.
