Note on overhauling operation undertaken by Moore Dry Dock Co, on Standard-Vacuum Oil Company's tanker Stanvac Wellington, which was brought across Pacific from Indonesia; vessel had been in South Seas for quite some time, and general repairs, renewals, and replacements were required; length 500 ft; power plant consists of two Babcock and Wilcox water tube boilers, with Westinghouse turbines developing 4400 shp through double reduction gears to single screw.
