Diesel electric rotary snow plow, designed for use in connection with Diesel locomotives, is 16 ft high, 36 ft long, and weighs 91 tons; it utilizes underframe, trucks, rotor and rotor chute of old American locomotive steam plow, but cab, car body, electrical and mechanical parts are new; max of 1080 hp, net, is supplied to rotor which operates at 130 rpm at plowing speed.
