Outline of work performed by Canadian Pacific Railroad during time of Red River Flood in Apr and May 1950; despite loss of 20 mi of track, Railroad moved 26,000 evacuees by rail and 175 by air from Winnipeg, accommodated 300 daily victims in its Royal Alexandra Hotel, handled 5000 telegrams per day, "highballed" all flood fighting material, and helped in record livestock rescue.
