Motor collier Wandsworth is first British built ship to be fitted with Stone-Kamewa controllable pitch propeller patented by Aktiebolaget Karlstads Mekaniska Werkstad, Sweden; propeller is of bronze construction, fitted with three blades; design based on that of Kaplan turbine, which has been built for outputs as high as 78,000 hp; illustrations.
