Report on survey conducted in St Boniface, Manitoba, when temperatures ranged from 30 F above to 30 F below zero, snow was falling and wind was driving at 30 mph; survey indicates one way in which small city with limited resources obtained necessary factual data at relatively little expense, illustrates problems in weather conditions not normally encountered, and points up some of difficulties involved with use of automatic counters and road tubes in urban areas.
