Great increase in power and performance achieved in Sonittep No 2, East Coast tugboat, through installation of new Fairbanks-Morse 8-cyl, 540-rpm Diesel; utilizing same engine room space, new unit has raised tug's power 50% and reduced engine weight from 32 to 19 tons; vessel owned by Sonnittep Transportation Co, has length oa 85 ft, beam 18 ft and draft 8 1/2 ft.
