Features of first line, Batavia-Meester Cornelis-Buitenzorg, now under construction; 70,000-volt transmission line and 1500-volt d.c. for railway use; motor-car trains will be used extensively, equipped with automatic starting devices, with locomotives for rush hours and freight only.
