New single-expansion locomotives of 2-6-6-4 type placed in service on Pittsburgh and West Virginia Railway built by Baldwin Locomotive Works; engines built to replace two 2-8-0 type, have four single-expansion cylinders 23 in. by 32 in., combined heating surface of 7. 786 sq ft, and develop starting tractive force of 113,500 lb.
