Two new high-speed express locomotives, one of steel and other of aluminum, constructed for hauling new and luxurious light-weight passenger trains at high average speeds between Chicago and St Louis; length of each 8-car train is 557 ft 10 in. and seating capacity provided for 283 passengers exclusive of dining and lunch car, which provides seats for 42 persons.
