Flying in water -- means employed by Lockheed engineers to simulate flying loads on plane; C-130 Hercules transport fuselage subjected to anticipated flight loads to evaluate fatigue effects of 20,000 simulated flights; in about 90 sec loads were placed on plane comparable to actual flight of 3 hr at altitude of 20,000 ft, hauling 40,000 lb cargo.
