Describes second of new 20,000-ton lines built at John Brown and Co.'s yard at Clydebank for Orient Line; length, 657 ft. 6 in.; breadth, 75 ft.; depth to upper deck, 47 ft.; propelling machinery consists of two independent sets of Brown-Curtis turbines driving twin-screws through single-reduction helical gearing and capable of developing about 20,000 shaft hp.
