Equilibrium amount of vapor that gasoline will form for given initial and final conditions of temperature and pressure may be predicted by means of equation presented; with knowledge of temperature and pressure characteristics of given fuel system, vapor-liquid conditions existing throughout system can be estimated in those cases where initial condition of fuel with respect to air saturation is known.
