Discussion of German practice, which, it is claimed, shows certain fundamental differences from American and British practice; various cast components from German aircraft are shown; none of which is of design which could have been produced economically, if at all, by methods other than casting; it is clear, from study of German aircraft castings, that there has been closest collaboration of designer and foundry technician during drawing board stages.
