Vessel Suecia, built at Gotaverken yard for Johnson Line; length oa 455 ft 4 1/2 in.; breadth molded 59 ft 6 in.; depth molded to shelter deck 37 ft 3 in.; vessel is fitted with Kamewa variable pitch propellers controlled from bridge; each propeller is directly connected to Gotaverken 2-stroke Diesel engine developing 3500 bhp at 125 rpm; two engines with total power of 7000 bhp estimated to give vessel speed of 17 knots when fully loaded.
