Wood hull vessel Lincoln Salvor, completely equipped with machine shop and mobile salvage gear, built at Bellingham Marine Railway and Boatbuilding Co, Bellingham, Wash; length 187 ft; beam 37 ft; draft molded 13 ft 3 in.; propelled by four Cooper-Bessemer 6-cyl, 4-cycle Diesel engines with 10 1/2-in. bore and 13 1/2-in. stroke, developing 450 hp at 650 rpm, working through 300-kw generator to two 660-bhp, 440-v d-c propulsion motors.
