Single deck oil burning tanker built by Goole Shipbuilding and Repairing Co to order of (Great Britain) Ministry of War Transport in 1942; deadweight capacity is about 884 tons; propelled by set of Amos and Smith triple expansion engines with cylinders 15, 25, and 42 in. diam by 27 in. stroke; steam is supplied at 200 lb per sq in. (gage) from one cylindrical multi-tubular 3-furnace boiler operating on Howden's system of forced draft.
