Through mobilization of one vast overland oil transportation system, deliveries of oil to Eastern Seaboard have increased from negligible volume in May 1941, to approximately 1,325,000 bbl per day; tank cars; pipe lines; barges and lake tankers; cooperation between industry and government; description of 23 emergency pipe line projects.
