For problem of bombing from distance, either ordinary wing bombs or wing bombs acting by propulsion may be used; rocket propulsion may generally be applied to normal rocket bombs, rocket wing bombs, and rocket torpedoes; possibility of using rockets for this purpose depends upon solution of such constructional problems as: instruments for stability of flight, propulsion, and large powder rockets; approximate calculation of range of wing bombs and rocket wing bombs given.
