Review of cycle of refrigeration system; three types of refrigeration applications on shipboard are discussed, i.e., refrigeration for preservation of ship stores, refrigeration, or low temperature air conditioning for preservation of perishable cargo, and refrigeration in connection with air conditioning for passenger accommodation, crew's quarters, work spaces, and control centers on naval vessels.
