By process of elimination of other methods, binocular strip film camera was considered most practical for measuring and recording cockpit visibility limits in terms of angles of vision; two lenses are spaced equal to distance between human eyes; thus, binocular effect of obstruction to vision, such as windshield posts, instruments, etc, is obtained.
