Investigation to determine relative performance of single-cylinder, high-speed, compression-ignition engine when using fuel-injection valve nozzles with different numbers, sizes, and directions of round orifices; test results are presented in form of curves and chart which lists nozzles and gives dimensions of orifices and performance obtained. (see also Automotive Industries, vol. 63, no. 7, Aug. 16, 1930, pp. 220-223, 8 figs.; and Diesel Power, vol. 8, no. 9, Sept. 1930, pp. 468-470, 9 figs)
