In Van Nest shops of New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad in Bronx, New York City, from 150 to 160 electric motors, ranging in size to 680 hp., are repaired each month and in addition more than 100 auxiliary and industrial type motors are sent to shops for various repairs; methods and equipment used.
