At present time demand of mills, street railways and railways, etc., in Bombay, is about two-thirds of total capacity of following systems: Tata Hydro-Electric Supply Co., 70,000 hp., Andhra Valley Co., 60,000 hp., and Tata Power Co., 155,000 hp.; further potential source, called Konya River project, when carried out, will make available further 80,000 hp.
