Two new chassis, one for double-deck and other for single-deck motor-buses, have been put on market by A.E.C.; outstanding feature is light weight enabling luxurious type of body and still keeping within weight limit of 9 tons; six-cylinder power unit develops 48 b. hp. at 1000 r.p.m. and 95 b.hp. is attained at 2500 r.p.m.; overhead valves, automatic advance ignition and large bearing surfaces are provided; brief description of change-speed mechanism and gearbox, gear ratios and speeds, axle arrangement, brakes and steering gear, and chassis lubrication.
