New motor tanker launched at Krupp plant, Kiel. Germany, on Aug. 25, 1928, made trial trip and tests in southern Baltic, when all machinery and equipment operated to full satisfaction of owners and builders; on measured mile course vessel attained loaded full power speed of 11.75 knots; 16,032 tons deadweight capacity; propelling machinery consists of two 2-cycle, single-acting port-scavenging air-injection Diesels of latest Krupp design.
