Progress made by South African Railways and Harbors Administration on new railway station at Johannesburg; when completed this work, estimated to involve total expenditure of 750,000 pounds sterling, will constitute largest and most ornate station in South Africa; station buildings and its quadrangles will occupy space of 530 by 210 ft.; structure will be built of local granite and bricks with tiled roof covering four stories and basement; work presents many difficulties; everything has to be done while ordinary traffic of station is in progress.
