Design of seaplane with tandem air-cooled engines is discussed; results arrived at conclude that although tandem engine machine is naturally not as efficient as single engine, use of existing power plants in tandem may be expected to give gaining speed of 17 per cent. (Aircraft Engr. Supp.)
