Tracking error analysis study is presented; principal error sources, such as random errors, measurement bias errors, and errors in tracking station location, are analyzed to determine how well tracking network can determine orbit of spacecraft; results of error analysis study considering tracking of spacecraft during all phases of Apollo mission are described; specifically, tracking during earth orbital, translunar, lunar, and transearth phases are simulated in this study.
