Thornycroft and Co makes maximum use of standard items which, if it incurs slight penalties in weight and space, is more than offset by resultant saving in price, together with instant availability of proven equipment; length oa 196 ft, length on water line 185 ft, breadth 28 ft 6 in., depth to No. 1 deck 21 ft; it is noted that although design discussed is of general purpose corvette, choice of armament is subject to particular need and can be varied to include Seacat guided missile system; gas turbine-diesel engine machinery is proposed; plan.
