Advantages are said to be good balancing of masses, high uniformity of running, easy manoaeeuvring during flight, simple construction, and light weight; disadvantages: large amount of fuel and oil consumed, effect of centrifugal moment (caused by revolving masses) on steering efficiency, limitation of speed to 1200 r.p.m. Construction data are given.
