Study based on fundamental equations of flight and propeller data contained in reports of Nat. Advisory Committee for Aeronautics. It is concluded that under best conditions and assuming that data available could be proportionally reproduced at high altitudes, aeroplane could be designed to give speed of 260 m.p.h. at about 50, 000 ft. altitude.
