Motor-transport vehicles have been classified by Army under ten broad heads, ranging from motor cycles to 5-ton trucks, and such classification is said to have been found to be most satisfactory. Writer discusses various vehicles from viewpoint of convenience of standardizing single type of vehicle for each class. He observes that once standards have been adopted they should be reasonably adhered to for at least period of 5 years before any serious change is contemplated.
