Need for two-way communication between airplane and airport becoming increasingly apparent; ruling now in effect provides two systems; first, that air transport operators may erect and operate at certain fields along their routes, short-wave telephone and telegraph stations with joint operation of converging lines; second calls for use of low-power transmitting equipment for communication with itinerant and sport planes.
