Illustrated description of two tankers built by Bayerische Schiffbaugesellschaft, one for canal and one for Rhine River service; former has dimensions of 66.9 by 8.14 by 2.4 m and draft of 2 m with 650 ton tank capacity; propelled by Deutz 6-cyl 4-stroke Diesel engine developing 400 bhp at 400 rpm; general arrangement of river tanker is similar, but tanks have capacity of only 600 ton.
