At Moosic Tower, 12 mi north of Wilkes-Barre, Pa, Delaware and Hudson Railroad has replaced 24-level mechanical interlocking with hand throw stands for operation of crossovers, and buffer type spring mechanisms and stand for operation of single switch, together with signals for directing train movements.
