Effect of distribution of moments of inertia of space vehicles on ability of crew members to stabilize attitude of tumbling space vehicles was studied by means of fixed-base manned space vehicle simulator; results indicate that certain vehicle shapes or configurations are more difficult to control and are more dependent on amount of displayed information for efficient control.
