Theoretical and experimental study is conducted at hypersonic speeds and at relatively low temperature to investigate mixing process that occurs in turbulent wake problems; it is shown that phenomena of mixing and describing equations of flowfield with their transport properties is analogous to problem of coaxial mixing; theoretical and experimental results are presented suggesting that wake undergoes slower mixing in near region than previously predicted.
