Cruise error analysis is presented for strapdown inertial aircraft navigation system with pulse torqued instruments, in presence of small amplitude oscillations; system consists of three pulse rebalanced single-degree-of-freedom rate integrating gyros, three pulse rebalanced single-axis pendulous integrating linear accelerometers, digital differential analyzer for performing all attitude update computations and coordinate transformations of measured velocity increments, plus standard auxiliary equipment; steady and secularly increasing position uncertainties, with accompanying Schuler oscillations, are expressed directly in terms of familiar system constants and statistical motion parameters.
