Investigation of particular accident involved four-engine jet transport, which crashed 5 min after takeoff, destroying aircraft and leaving no survivors; as result of intensive recovery operation, some 80% of aircraft dry weight was recovered including 65% of systems components; techniques used in investigation and instrument examination; only real anomaly uncovered was 2° nose down trim setting of horizontal stabilizer; future flight safety goals.
