Man-machine relationships in flight testing are affected by degree of mechanization which can be applied to flight test engineering analysis; mechanization is achieved when manual tabulation, plotting, calculations, and cross plotting are replaced by automatic computing and automatic plotting; if ground data processing, computing and plotting equipment are of sufficient capacity and properly coordinated in design, final automatically calculated and plotted results may be obtained; ground station equipment is described together with scientific and filekeeping programs; Boeing central computer system and computations performed.
