In course of development program many flight tests were carried out with hovering rig to investigate handling qualities of aircraft; main aim of flight tests was to obtain objective information in addition to subjective opinion of pilot; amplitude distribution functions for control moments and power spectra of control deflections have proved to be important aids; test runs, in which expected flight conditions were simulated on small hovering rig, were of great use.
