Concept is envisaged which considers vehicle, avionics, and ordnance as totally integrated system, whose objective is to maximize mission success; avionics requirements and display problem in integrated avionics system; three possible arrangements of displays in cockpit are shown; communication, navigation, and identification (CNI) system and problem of integrating CNI portion of avionics which will not occur until integrated ground environment is introduced.
