Plastisol technology with respect to its use in automotive interior trim parts is reviewed; manufacturing processes are discussed and specific parts in 1968 production are listed; it is visualized that use of vinyl plastisols will enjoy continued growth in automotive materials; continued advances in technology promise to resolve many of its existing limitations; future products will possibly include additional full crash pads, headliners, seat, and other parts.
